LCARS Terminal is an application to emulate the famous LCARS Terminals and screens on teh Enterprise starships. This desktop program is based on the Enterprise-E (from the 'First Contact' movie).

Required:

• Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP with 64mb ram. (Windows NT 4.0 is not supported)
• Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
• DirectX 7 or higher.
• Screen Resolution of 800x600 (1024x768 is better).

• The Lcars Terminal / Shell program shows requesters to buy the program. So it is possible to check out all the options and then deceide to register or not.
• The Lcars Science module shows requesters to buy the program. So it is possible to check out all of the options and then deceide to register or not.
• The Lcars Engineering module shows requesters to buy the program. So it is possible to check out all of the options and then deceide to register or not.
• The Lcars Padd module shows requesters to buy the program. So it is possible to check out all of the options and then deceide to register or not.
• The Lcars Security module shows requesters to buy the program. So it is possible to check out all of the options and then deceide to register or not.
• The Lcars Comms module shows requesters to buy the program. So it is possible to check out all of the options and then deceide to register or not.
• As registered user you have access to the login area where you can download all kind if interesting stuff to change your computer into a LCARS Terminal. Also additional database files are in the login area for downloading.
• Support of themes is only available in the registered version.
• In all modules the save routine is restricted. So in the Padd module you can only save 15 items. When you register it is possible to save more items.

		COMMS: The browser supports IE 5.0x and higher. When you press the History or Links button, a new section is showed with the latest history or all the links (favorites). The browser has 9 screens and when you select open in new window or a site is opening in a new window it will open in the next browser. So when a site is opening 200 new screens it will open them all in the new browser so only the last one is shown.
		DATABASE: In this picture you can see the Database module. You can download database packs (zip format) and import them into the database. There is also a MISC and PRIVATE section where you can store your personal items. It is very easy to import/export data items and create them. You can use bmp, jpg, gif, avi, mpg files and also more pictures/movies per item.
		ENGINEERING: Control panel section, here you can start the standard windows control panel items. All non standard items are accessable via the normal control panel via the startmenu. Audio Mixer section, you can set/change the values of all the channels on your soundcard. If your screenresolution is to small to show all the channels then only the channels that fit on the screen are shown.
		EXPLORER: In this plugin you can easy organise your drives, your programs menu, shortcuts. It supports drag/drop to move, copy, delete files/dirs. When you put files into the cargobay you can empty the cargobay and then the files/dirs will be deleted. The cargobay is a temp. storage folder where you can park files and then change the source window and drag/drop them back. When you drop a file on the source window then you can select what you want to do, copy/move/make shortcut.
		PADD/EMAIL: In the padd you can place all your appointments. In the overview always the upcomming 10 days are displayed. Sort of Outlook 97/98/2000 replacement. Addresses: Here you can store all your addresses of friends, family, etc. Agenda: You can put all your appointments. When it is the time of the appointment it will display a requester. Calendar: Never forget a birthday or important day. E-Mail: See the pictures below. Log-Book: You can keep a private diary in this section. Notes: Here you can enter all your notes that are not related to a date. Todo: Important things to do can be added to the TODO and then they will be displayed in the overview also.
		PADD/EMAIL: Read/Write your E-Mail. This is the first release of the PADD with E-Mail support so not yet everything is tested and working! You can read messages also in HTML format. You can print messages. You can reply or send new messages. A lot of features are under development and the buttons are already there but they are not yet working!
		PADD/EMAIL: Send E-Mail as HTML. You can select all fonts you have, set size of fonts, include pictures, colors, attachments (not working yet) and much more options.
		EXIT: When you exit the LCARS Terminal you can select what you want to do, exit the program, exit windows or one of the other functions.
		SECURITY: In the Security/Configuration you can protect buttons. So it is possible to protect your PADD, exit or other buttons so nobody can read your private stuff. Also it is possible to select another theme for a different layout of the program.
		PASSWORD Popup: When you have secured a button then when it is pressed a PASSWORD popup window will popup and asks for the password. It will only continue with the current action if the password is correct.
